Terms of service ยท Updated May 11, 2026
Plain-language terms.
These terms govern the Spot Your Site service. They’re written to be readable. Where we’ve had to use a legal term, we’ve tried to define it inline.
1. Who you’re contracting with
The service is provided by Deals Unleashed LLC, a Maine limited liability company (“DealsUnleashed,” “we,” or “us”). By engaging us to build or maintain a website, you agree to these terms.
2. What we do
We offer two plans. Launch: for a flat setup fee of $999 USD, we design, build, and launch one (1) website with up to six pages (one homepage plus up to five inner pages), configure DNS and TLS, set up search-engine fundamentals, and deliver the site live to the public within fourteen (14) calendar days of project kickoff; the monthly fee of $99 USD covers ongoing hosting, security, performance maintenance, and up to five (5) content updates per calendar month. Signature: for a flat setup fee of $1,999 USD, the Launch scope is delivered with a fully custom design (cinematic or interactive hero), booking-system integration, and compliance review; the monthly fee of $249 USD additionally covers unlimited small content changes with same-business-day turnaround, a monthly content update package, and a quarterly design refresh. Optional professional email setup is available for a one-time fee of $50 USD per mailbox; email forwarding to an existing inbox is included at no recurring charge, and where a Google Workspace subscription is chosen, that subscription is contracted and paid by you directly to Google. Promotional or founding-client setup pricing, where offered in writing to a specific business, applies to the setup fee only and does not change the monthly fee.
3. Payment
The setup fee is due in full at project kickoff. The first month of membership is included at no charge with every new build. The first monthly fee is invoiced 30 days after launch and recurs every 30 days thereafter. All fees are in U.S. dollars. We accept credit and debit cards through our payment processor, plus ACH bank transfer on request. Failure to pay an invoice within 14 days of issue may result in temporary site suspension; failure to pay within 60 days may result in termination of service and return of the domain to your control.
4. Project timeline
Our standard timeline is fourteen calendar days from kickoff to launch. If a delay is caused by us, we extend any maintenance month on a day-for-day basis. If a delay is caused by missing inputs from you (assets, approvals, decisions), the timeline pauses until we receive them.
5. Revisions and changes
The setup fee includes one round of visual revisions on the homepage blueprint and one round of revisions on the built site before launch. Additional rounds are quoted separately at a fair hourly rate. After launch, the monthly maintenance fee covers up to five content updates per month. Larger projects (rebrands, new sections, e-commerce integration) are scoped and quoted as separate engagements.
6. Refunds
If you’re unsatisfied before we begin design work (within 48 hours of kickoff), you may cancel for a full refund. After design work has begun and before launch, we will issue a partial refund based on work completed, in good faith. After launch, the setup fee is non-refundable; the monthly fee can be canceled with 30 days’ notice.
7. Intellectual property
You own the content. Any text, logo, photography, or branding you provide remains yours. On final payment, you also own the finished site files for your project. We retain the templates, components, and tooling we use internally to build many sites. You may not resell, redistribute, or sublicense the underlying templates.
8. Acceptable use
We don’t build sites that promote illegal activity, infringing material, harassment, fraud, sexual content involving minors, or any content prohibited by U.S. federal law or Maine state law. We reserve the right to decline or terminate projects at our discretion for cause.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability under or in connection with the service is limited to the amounts you have actually paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or incidental damages.
10. Termination
You can cancel monthly service with 30 days’ written notice to [email protected]. On termination, we’ll provide a full export of your site files within 30 days at no additional charge and assist with domain transfer.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Maine, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Cumberland County, Maine.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms occasionally. If we make a material change, we’ll notify active clients by email at least 30 days before the change takes effect. The current version always lives at /terms.
13. Severability
If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect.
